Setup and target values stay local. No camera or sky map is connected.

Focal length, aperture, sensor, pixels, seeing, target angular size, and mosaic settings are calculated only on the current page. AstroFrame does not request camera, location, sky-map, image-file, or telescope-control access, and it never uploads photos.

Geometric framing, not an observing plan

The tool calculates ideal field from sensor size and effective focal length, estimates arcseconds/pixel from pixel pitch, binning, and focal length, then chooses the lower-panel landscape/portrait mosaic from target angular size and overlap; more than 50 panels in one direction is rejected. Target presets are approximate boundaries only. It does not use celestial coordinates or judge target season, altitude, Moon, exposure, guiding, distortion, sensor tilt, sky brightness, filters, rotation angle, or stacking crop.

No photos, location, or device identifiers enter the page

Refreshing or closing discards current inputs. CSV and reports contain focal length, aperture, sensor, pixel scale, field, seeing sampling, and mosaic count; optional local checkpoints save the visible summary. Equipment combinations or an unreleased imaging plan may be sensitive, so review them before sharing.

Advertising and local preferences

This page uses Google AdSense Auto Ads. Google may use cookies or similar technologies under its policies. .miluland.com domain cookies sync language, theme, high contrast, a six-item recent-tools list, and up to 16 favorite tool IDs across MiluLand sites. These values never contain inputs, files, or results; the current site also keeps a local compatibility copy.

Local report studio

The report studio reads only the workbench’s currently visible result summary for local preview, Markdown copy, JSON download, printing, and a SHA-256 fingerprint. It never reads input controls or original files and is not persisted unless you choose to download it.

Optional local checkpoints

Only when you explicitly choose Save does the tool write the visible result summary, time, and optional short label to this site’s browser storage, up to five entries. Imported files and input-control contents are never stored; you can export, restore same-tool checkpoints, or clear them at any time. Imports are limited to 128KB and validate the tool, timestamp, summary, and label of up to 80 characters.
